MISSOURI
MARCH 20-25
Our next Prayer Assignment is here. We will be traveling through the state of MISSOURI. We will be praying over five locations (North, South, East, West, and Central) and placing nails with scripture at each location as we did with all our locations in Hawaii.
Here is the list of the locations, the scriptures we have already been praying as well as the “Spiritual Warfare Prayer” we have been praying over the United States as well.
Feel free to download a copy of each and pray with us as we complete our Virginia Assignment March 16-22.

Because of issues with our car we had to push back the start date of our prayer assignment. Our plan was to start on Monday, March 16, but with needing some car repairs we started on Friday, March 20. Same locations, same order, just a different time frame than originally planned.
JEFFERSON CITY
JEFFERSON CITY

Friday, March 20, 2026
Hitting the road this morning, we traveled from Tulsa to Jefferson City. Our prayer location for today was the Missouri State Capital Building. Jefferson City is named after President Thomas Jefferson and was chosen to be the permanent home of the state capital in 1821. While chosen in 1821, the government didn’t officially move until 1826 from St. Charles to Jefferson City. The city was incorporated as a town in 1825 but wasn’t established as a city until 1839. The site of the Capital Building was originally known as “Lohman’s Landing” and was chosen because it was centrally located in the Missouri wilderness, about half-way between Kansas City and St. Louis. The state government first met in Jefferson City in 1826 after the completion of the first state house. During the American Civil War, Jefferson City was occupied by the Union army. During this time Missourians was divided in loyalties to the Union and Confederate.
PRAYER FOCUS: PRAYER AND HUMILITY
SCRIPTURE: 2 CHRONICLES 7:13-16
“13 If I shut up heaven that there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among My people, 14 when My people, over whom My Name is called, humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their evil ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 15 Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayer offered in this place. 16 For now I have chosen and consecrated this House so that My Name may be there forever. My eyes and My heart shall be there perpetually.“

So, before we left Jefferson City to our next prayer location in Kansas City, we were directed to another prayer site near the capital building. There is a replica of the Statue of Liberty, one of 200 such statues nation wide that have been donated by the Boy Scouts. We discovered these while praying for our Oklahoma prayer assignment last year. There is this one in Jefferson City across the street from the capital building. We prayed there, placed the nail, “seeded communion” and blew the shofar. Afterwards we headed to Kansas City.

After we prayed in Kansas City on Saturday, we drove to Bethany for our next prayer location. Sunday morning we went to our location, the Harrison County Courthouse. Bethany is the county seat for Harrison County in North Central Missouri. This was our Northern Gateway we prayed over.

SCRIPTURE: MICAH 5:12-13

13 I will uproot your Asherah poles from among you, and destroy your cities.”

After praying at the Courthouse in Bethany, we headed across the state to St. Louis. Once we arrived, we checked into our room and rested. Then we went to our prayer location on Monday, March 23.
Our prayer location was the Gateway Arch right downtown St. Louis. A cold front moved in during the night and it was really cold when we prayed in the area near the arch.
