Our next Prayer Assignment is here. We will be traveling through the state of LOUISIANA. We will be praying over five locations (North, South, East, West, and Central) and placing nails with scripture at each location as we did with all our locations in our previous prayer assignments.
Here is the list of the locations, the scriptures we have already been praying as well as the “Spiritual Warfare Prayer” we have been praying over the United States as well.
Feel free to download a copy of each and pray with us as we complete our Louisiana Assignment May 4-15.

Baton Rouge – State Capitol Grounds
Baton Rouge, the capital of Louisiana, sits along the Mississippi River and carries a long history tied to government, leadership, and influence in the state. The current State Capitol building, completed in 1932, stands as the tallest capitol in the United States—a visible symbol of authority and decision-making. This is a place where laws are formed and direction is set for the entire state. As we pray here, our focus is on leadership—asking God for wisdom, integrity, and hearts that seek Him above all else.

Leesville
Leesville is a smaller, close-knit community in western Louisiana, deeply connected to nearby Fort Johnson (formerly Fort Polk), one of the largest military training bases in the country. It’s a place where many families serve, sacrifice, and live with a strong sense of duty. The town has roots going back to the late 1800s and reflects the resilience of rural Louisiana. Our prayers here will center on families, strength, protection, and the spiritual well-being of those who serve and support our nation.

New Iberia
New Iberia is rich with culture and history, known for its deep Cajun and Creole roots. Founded in the late 1700s by Spanish settlers, it carries a unique blend of traditions, faith expressions, and community life. It’s also home to some of the most beautiful bayou landscapes in Louisiana. This is a place where heritage runs deep, and where we will be praying for spiritual renewal—asking God to stir hearts, restore faith, and bring fresh life into churches and communities.

Covington
Located north of Lake Pontchartrain, Covington has grown from a quiet river town into a thriving community while still holding onto its historic charm. Founded in 1813, it has long been a place of connection—between people, culture, and commerce. Today, it continues to grow rapidly, bringing both opportunity and challenges. Our prayers here will focus on growth with purpose—that as the city expands, God would establish strong foundations of faith, truth, and community.

Ruston
Ruston is known as a college town, home to Louisiana Tech University, and has a strong influence on the next generation of leaders, thinkers, and professionals. Founded in the 1880s, it has always been a place of learning, development, and forward movement. Because of its university presence, Ruston represents a key place of influence over young minds and future direction. We’ll be praying for students, educators, and future leaders—that truth would take root and that faith would rise boldly in the next generation.
